Assignment 1 - Becoming Part of the Team

You are on your way to building your efolio. We hope you enjoyed the assigned reading by Hilarie Davis. Please open a second browser window and use it to log into the efolio website. The directions below will guide you through the process.

Step 1 - Go to http://www.techforlearning.org/noaa (it is best to paste this link rather than clicking it. You will need to have this page and techforlearning page open at the same time.

Step 2 - Click on "enter"

Step 3 - In the box that says, "Please enter your school password," type the password inquiry and login

Step 4 - From the NOAA Waterways page, choose "Classes" "Test" from the list of classes at the far right

Step 5 - In the box that says, "Please enter your password to access the internal pages for test," type the password "test" and enter class

Step 6 - You should now see some friendly faces. We would like you to add you picture to our OMET Cadre 9 Team. To do this, follow the directions below the pictures in the boxes. You may create any user name and password you like. You must choose a picture to complete the process. Once you have done so, click create explorer and wait to see your picture added to the team.

Step 7 - You have officially finished Assignment 1, CONGRATULATIONS! Please take a few minutes to explore what Kim, David, Kristen, and Brad have added to their efolios by clicking on their pictures.
